Senior Business Analyst Position (Boston)

Are you a Business Analyst looking for an
exciting position in the financial software

known firms in the world. Our current opening is
for a full-time Senior Business Analyst with
experience in the financial investment/services
industry.
Vantage Software offers solutions to the
alternative investment community, including
private equity firms, hedge funds, and
investment advisors. Vantage applications
provide investment professionals with greater
visibility into their financial and operational
data, exposing critical information to assist
with management and investment activities. Our
solutions for investor marketing and servicing,
CRM, accounting, portfolio performance reporting
and deal flow management help customers maximize
efficiency and scalability across their
operations. Here at Vantage, we work with
leaders in the alternative investments industry,
servicing and supporting customers with over
$250 billion in assets under management.
- Primary Responsibilities
-
• Interface with customer staff and
management to define and document functional
requirements
• Work with the customer for software
application deployments, releases, and
acceptance testing
• Communicate requirements to our offshore
development team
• Review releases to ensure they meet
client requirements
• Manage client data migration process and
deployment
• Responsible for the successful
implementation of the product to the customer
• Establish a trusted relationship with
the customer to guide and focus product
direction based on customer feedback
• Act as primary point of contact for a
dedicated portfolio of customers
• Recommend and drive the improvement in
the internal process
.
- Requirements
- 2 or more years of experience working in the
financial investment/services industry
- 2 or more years of business/systems analysis
experience within a enterprise software application
environment
- 4 or more years of experience taking customer
requirements and translating them into functional
specifications for the development team.
- 3 or more years of experience working in a
client facing environment
- BS/BA degree
- Experience working with offshore teams
- Software Development Life Cycle experience
- Experience training customers on software
applications
